Thanks to an unfortunate accident back in August I had to have approximately $7500 CDN in repairs performed. The result of which, was that I got my tank repaired & repainted, adhering to the Edition 80 colour scheme, while getting rid of the decals - yay!

Apart from helmet what other kit did you have on?

Joe Rocket Phoenix 4 mesh jacket, Sidi Vertigo Tepor boots, Icon Pursuit Stealth gloves (shorties) & jeans. Jacket barely looks like it has been of the hanger, gloves held up well for shorties, the boots are scuffed up but intact (and I love them, at least on the bike), and the jeans are toast.

That's good news Jason..it looks great..I'm still waiting for my good news..(any day now)..yes still no bike for me..the buggers..I've almost forgoten what mine looked like.

Hang in there DJ, I had to wait for 5 weeks, very long weeks.

Foolish guy that I am, right after I picked up my bike, I went to another dealer and took out an Aprilia Tuono for a brief test ride. Felt like a bit of a philanderer, afterwards.

On the up side for you, you're heading into the summer, and will have your bike to enjoy it with. We are lurching into our cold, wet winter, here in Vancouver.
