If any Aussies, or anyone else is interested, go to http://www.moto-one.com.au
click on Moto-One logo, then into there performance section.
Brad Black has had a lot to do with BMW, and Ducati performance mods, so, some helpfull info there.
Lots of Dyno charts, and facts to help get the Boxers cracking :D

Thanks Johno.......Brad has done some very interesting things and most of the gearheads here are aware of his exploits, as well as those of SJBMW, however, those for the most part the mods have to do with the internals of the engine, heads, cams, pistons, etc.

I dont undesrtand why any one would want more HP out of out R bikes...if you really want HP yu need another bike,,,,enjoy the R the for it is,,the best all arounded. the fact that we have a drive shaft tell you that HP gains are a waste. We taking big $ for 5 tp 10 HP..you know for that you can get a track bike and go crazy!

solitario11.......we value your opinnion, however, I'm sure you indulge in some pleasures that other people might not think much of it.

Also the intent here is not to get people to go out and do it, but to share what will they get in return before they make the expemditure in time and money.

I personally believe in "to each it's own" ........... 8) 8)

My mod is going to be to lose 20+ pounds this winter. Although it is not a HP mod, it will improve the HP:weight ratio for the better.

solitario11, I did my mods not for more top speed, but to "fatten" up the low down, and mid range torque.
This is the way I ride, low to mid rev riding, not high speed.
If I wanted more HP, I certainly would buy an R1, and do track days.
