Re: Tank Bag of Choice

+1 on the Bags Connection system. I had the 'Engage' bag on my R1150R and was very happy with that so wanted it on my R1200R as well. The bag touched the tank though and left some marks, so changed it for a 'Daypack' which doesn't touch any longer. Did 18,000km with it - very happy with it:) . Quick...

Re: R1200R vs. R1200RT

My Significant Other rides a 1200RT, me a R1200R. Agree with the opinions above that the RT is a better choice in colder and rainy weather. The SO stays dry as long as he keeps riding  while I on the RR get all wet. Once bought the same gloves as he has because they clearly were dry quicker ....

Re: Just another test ride victim...

Congratulations. I test rode the Speed (and Street) triple before switching from R1150R to R1200R (test ride victime here as well  ). Had read a lot of very good comments on the Triples though was quite dissappointed when I finally went for a test ride - nowhere near as good riding as all t...

Re: Schuberth C3

looking at the V, it appears BMW dropped the drop-down sun shield that Schuberth has had since the C1 BMW has re-introduced the sun shield on the new System VI, which was announced in Europe in Fall though has delay in arriving to the shops at the moment. Prices are in the range of the new Schubert...

Re: Schuberth C3

@Don - Sorry about. Didn't check their shipping details - esp. as Frederic said his friend was going to ship. Pretty sure other one won't ship either then. Perhaps Schuberth helmets are not US certified.

Re: Pirelli Scorpion sync tires

Don - Curious to hear more about your experience of how the MPR2s compare to the Conti Road Attacks? My new R1200R was delivered with Conti's. Have done 3,000 km with them till date and very pleased with the tires. They provide good grip and feel very secure in turns. That is, in the dry - for once ...

DJ, I normally only read the postings on this forum, never post myself. But after looking at your awesome pics I just had to! Congrats - you're such a gifted photographer! I ride a silver brother of your black beauty (they didn't sell them in black anymore  ) It's my first bike, have put on 10,...
