Fuel Disconnects Brittle
I was on a trip today and one of the fuel disconnects broke and sprayed fuel everywhere. I walked to a parts store and put a traditional fuel filter bulb on it to get back to civilization. Should I replace these with factory new or leave the temporary on with no ill effects. It rode beautifully on t...

Fuel Consumption and Leakage.
My 2004 Tiger runs great but starting to use a lot of fuel. I thought there was a leak but can't find one. Filled up and rode 150 Miles and needed 4 Gallons? When I took the cover off of it after a week of sitting "I smelled fuel", still no leak located. Is there a fuel shutoff I don't kno...

2004 Rockster Owner
I have had around a dozen bikes going back 20 years, Honda, Norton, Harley, Kawasaki, MotoGuzzi, and even an old R60 BMW. Always liked the character and quality of the bike and enjoyed a story about the URAL (russian bike) made on BMW equipment taken and shipped east from Germany in WWII. Finally lo...

Changing time on Rockster
Invaluable:
I should have used a pointed object as stated but afraid of puncture. It worked GREAT.
Thank you VERY much!

Changing the clock on the Rockster!
I have a like new rockster and read the manual... It illustrates changing the time on the clock by using a pen or pointed object to adjust the time. This has not worked for me. I have tried it in all modes (OFF, ON, PARK,MAGIC JUJU) with no results. Am I doing something wrong as the time never chang...

Do you work for Trojan? No but I should after the research
No but I should after all the research. On Auusie said he kept Condoms under the seat, as I asked what are good items to have when stranded so I did some research and he was RIGHT. It is a good, cheap, small and overall very handy item to have in an emergency. That and a sharp blade, a flare gun and...

Under Seat Candidates (Good Item)...
Condoms excel as multipurpose containers because they are waterproof, elastic, durable, and will not arouse suspicion if found. * Tying a non-lubricated condom around the muzzle of the rifle barrel in order to prevent barrel fouling by keeping out detritus. * Because long-distance bombers often did ...

Plugs on left side of Bike
I am too lazy too look at the manual so what are the two plugs on the left side of my Rockster? One is covered with a rubber plug with a + sign on it and the other an electrical outlet. I am assuming the electrical type is for a heated vest or coffee maker. What is the other one for? Put on my Serge...

I have a knife, my bike papers, a little cash. a tool, and ID. What do you recommend as something to put under the seat to save you when stranded, I had nothing in there a few years ago but now OLD and in stead of say glasses, medicine, protection or am I too protective? No water, food, two weeks of...

How do you tell when you need Fuel?
On my old bike (Norton) after a year of riding I could tell to the drop how much fuel was in it. Now I have a 2004 Rockster and see the FUEL LIGHT but getting used to the weight and slosh factor to gauge when fuel is needed. How does one tell when to fill up of how much fuel is left prior to the su...
