I was looking at the R&g's to but they may be to big i would be worried about them snapping off as they so long and maybe doing damage to frame or leave some theaded bolt left behind when it does snap off! I would also be worried about the warrany to with BMw by using the R&g's on the frame....

I like the new R1200r but at that price I am tempted by the R1200s at
£8995 for 700 more u get a lot more it seems, then i guess the major cost is in the engine and transmission.

Then the r will suit me more round town :D

MCN say around £8000. The R1200s is about £8975 may as well say £9000. So I can't see the R1200r being more than £8000, wouldve thought less than 8k really.

If it was £8500 not far off the K1200r then either!

Its wierd how no ones seems to like the racing style reservoirs, they look similar to the brembo gold line ones on my S4r.

Usually people want these and not the coffin or combined cylinder/reservoir u get on the cheaper monster/ older r1150r.

I think they look more racy and smaller to :D

R1200R with what looks to be the low seat

This pic from MCN, looks to show the low 770mm seat, Looks like you really do sit in the bike. Nice to see a real shot to and not studio shots.

I do like this light silver very nice!

I believe the newer abs systems as on the new R1200s have no servo assistance and only add 1.5kg in weight.

Guess this is to do with advances in technology :D
