aerostich roadcrafter, one- or two-piece?
all- first, sorry for another 'stich post... but i searched and did not see my issue addressed, so i hope those with experience can help sort me out. i'd really like to begin commuting more with my bike. i live in san diego, and it does actually get cold in the mornings and evenings. i'm currently u...

Re: gs handguards/throttlemeister compatibilty
rick- thanks for the feedback. as usual, a very creative solution. my r1150r throttlemeister is still in the box, so i'm pretty sure i can return it to the dealer and get an exchange for the gs-specific model. so...i'm still looking for the definitive answer to the question, although i'm pretty sure...

gs handguards/throttlemeister compatibilty
all- i have searched the discussions around handguard installation but can not find the definitive answer: when installing gs handguards and throttlemeister on the r1150r, does the throttlemeister have to be gs-specific, or can it be the one designed for the 'r'? as always, i am grateful for your fe...

Re: parabellum windshield help
buckster- great pictures; many thanks. that looks like the mounting bracket on my windshield. parabellum wants to charge $49 for the nuts/bolts needed to connect to the bike. looks like you have removed the black fringe around the bottom of the screen. any reason other than cosmetics? thanks again, ...

parabellum windshield help
all-
my dealer recently gave me a windshield and i believe it is a parabellum. does anyone have pictures of how it mounts and the associated hardware? the hardware/holes on the windshield do not line up with the stock windscreen mounts.
thanks in advance,
pat

widder temp controller mounting question
all-
just received my widder vest and am looking to shorten the learning curve. has anyone come up with a neat/tidy way to mount the rather bulky, sharp-cornered temp-controller for the widder devices? i'm thinking a velcro patch low on the gas tank. what say you?

mikecam- thanks for the feedback. i was contmplating sending them back and trying the 11s, but that just seems a bit too small. wish they had an 11.5. their information sheet says to try an insert to 'help a loose-fitting boot feel like it is custom made.' tried one of my orthotics last night and it...
