Re: To all the windshield Guru
Hello gents, I'm back from a long job abroad....and still looking for windshield. As I'm committed to waste money   I was thinking about putting a Vario spoiler on the Z-technick. I know I'm most probably going to throw money AND the Ztechnik out of the window but.......what can I do [-o...

Re: Windshield noise
Hello, recently I bought a ZTechnic screen (cost me a fortune in Europe) just to find out that the turbulence around the helmet is too bad. At 130/140 km/hr my head is shaking like hell [-X , at lower speed in any case the wind just blow at eye level resulting very noisy. I do not feel any pressure ...

R1200R Risers
Hello,
does any of you installed bar riser on the R? To install risers do you need to replace brake lines or not?
I think that with raisers the driving will be more confortable as right now, as per my shape, I tend to lean towards the bar.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Luca

Re: To all the windshield Guru
Rich, I'll wait for your pictures (hopefully). Yes I agree with you this is a very costly quest. And I agree on the Cee Bailey 20, too high. I also tried to manufacture one myself. I managed to get a proper profile to put on a lexan screen but....unfortunately §I broke it when it comes to bend it wi...

Re: To all the windshield Guru
Rich, thanks for the info. I pay for the Ztechnik a hell of a lot (219,00 euro  )! I was in the process to add a spoiler but the italian deale of MRA advised me against doing so :-k :-k Now I'm a little bit confused and worried. Should I give this last (and costly....) try (about 60 Euro fo...

Angel tyre
Hello, Pirelli has developed a new tyre named Angel ST (http://www.pirelli.it/web/motorcycle/tyres/angelst/video/default.page) They tried on a Hayabusa and apparently got a "world record" in duration. It is the evolution of the Diablo III specially designed for tourer bike. Maybe when I'll...

To all the windshield Guru

Scott,
very nice! Where did you get it? Did you need to remove the tire to install it? How it goes with the shock protector?
Thanks a lot

Re: What to look for?
Hello,
I've a R1200R '07 and I got two recall for antenna ring and front brake line. I would suggest you to check if your bike has been already "adjusted" or if it is in the list of the recalled vehicles.

Re: R1200R reliability
Hello,
yes I had my R1200R serviced for a new EWS antenna. In the meantime they replace a brake line and purged (in a way better) the whole system. They also did something to electronic (some new software release) but I've no other details.

Re: Clear view mirror???
Gentlemen, I really trust you regarding to the play to be adjusted. Unfortunately I'm not very clever with mechanics therefore the only way to do this for me is to ask to a dealer. I'm just concerned about HOW to tell dealer to do this :-k Should I just walk in when doing my next service and ask for...
