Ladies Jackets Recommendations

Hello all,

Any recommendations on versatile jackets for ladies? My riding friend is looking for something to use in the changable fall weather in north Georgia. Oh yeah, and it has to look good too!!

All help appreciated!

Maybe in a few years...

No way right now...the 1150 is gorgeous and has plenty of power for my riding style and experience level. I still just go to the garage to admire her!!

Once...almost at a full stop, but turning slightly to the left and slightly downhill. It started going and i just "stepped away" from the bike. Nothing hurt but my pride and a few small scratches on the head. Three other motorcyclist there to witness my loss of pride...but all shared their...

Yes, this is torture...stop it some more it hurts sooooooo good!!! I put the K-RS mirrors on yesterday then just stood back and admired my (even prettier) baby. It does not help when so many people 'stare adoringly at my naked darling'. To others that would be embarrassing...for me I just love havin...

Just installed the K12RS mirrors. Great addition to the bike...looks good and better visibility! Thanks to whoever provided the part numbers in a separate post!

The longer I have this bike the more I like it!!!

I was away from riding for 25+ yrs and bought an 1150r after taking the Rider Safety Course. This bike is very easy to ride (from a rookie's perspective). Contact me on my email address below if you want to know anything specifically about my initial experiences with the bike. Don don.purvis@comcast...

The throttlemeister is a 'piece of cake' install except for finding the wire to tap into to delay signal cancellation. The provided instructions are very straightforward...the wire is tough to find and fish out. Definately one of the best mods around.

Best "Bang for the Buck" Upgrade to Improve Ride o

Listed below are the upgrades I have installed. I love the bike as is, but I am looking to "invest" more money in improving the ride-ability or safety of the bike. Many folks on the board here rave about ohlin shocks, but they are a significant investment...just wondering if they are worth...

NoRRmad, thats exactly how my first and only drop happened. Now I use the back brake for slow manuvering. The front brake is too jerky for slow stuff. Only problem with my drop was that there were 4 other riders at the gas station where it happened...lost many, many cool points. They were nice folks...

The combo of bar backs and peg lowering kit worked for me. Makes for a very comfortable riding position.

I was headed to my brother's house on Easter Sunday for dinner...stopped at a light and a Chevy Avalanche pulls up next to me. A 60-65 year old woman leans out of the passenger window and says "Wow...Nice Bike!!". Her husband was driving and said "I have always wanted one of those...b...

I dumped mine at slow speed in a gas station parking lot...taught me to use the rear brakes as slow speed because the abs brakes are so grabby. I am a fan of the abs brakes though...have needed them a few times already and glad i had them.

I was leaving a Ted's Montana Grill in Atlanta when a young couple comes walking up...The guy was completely lusting after the bike (2002 Atlanta Blue). He said that he had been looking at bikes for about 2 years, and the the Roadster was the nicest looking bike he had seen in person. His wife was a...

Sargent seat makes a huge difference...short or long hauls for me. Biggest difference is that I don't notice the seat most of the time.

Bike Rental in Australia...DJ, you out there?

I may be in Australia for two weeks in April and can think of no better way to see some of the country than on a bike (preferably an 1150R). Do any of our Aussie brothers have recommendations on bike rentals and places to go. I will be in Melbourne one week, and Sydney another...working during the w...
