Thanks for that feedback.
I received an email back from Aeroflow this morning (after a week) and they will ship to me for $35US so I have already ordered them. Thanks again.

Hey Priapismic, I have a Givi screen but slightly smaller - A146 I think. http://members.westnet.com.au/martinbell/photos/r1150r.jpg . I can certainly see where the air can shoot in and up over the oil coolers but in your opinion will I see any benefit with this smaller screen? It is similar to your...

BMW Airflow pants and hip armor

Hi All
Just picked up a pair of BMW Airflow 2 pants that the dealer had marked down from $485 to $295 (Ozzy $) and I am considering trying to get the optional hip armor. Does anyone have any experience with this regarding comfort or any other comments?? :?:

Hi Catapult Sorry but in my opinion the seat does not get any better. Some people seem OK with it but I could not cope and have just replaced it with a Sargent Seat which seems MUCH better. See my bike at http://members.westnet.com.au/martinbell/photos/ The original BM seat was hard on my butt and a...

A long , ball ended allen key is a wise invetment for the bracket bolts. Really makes a tough job easy.

Hi Ghostrider This one keeps coming up. Have a look at the "WOW - Nice Mirrors" thread on Jan 11th. I just fitted a pair of the chrome black cruiser mirrors (as in the photo) and I really like the expanded field of view, much better. Had some trouble getting the bushes (adaptor sleeves) an...

Hi They look like cruiser mirrors to me, just like in DJ's photo. I just fitted a pair and I really like the expanded field of view, much better. Had some trouble getting the bushes (adaptor sleeves) and thanks to Marko in Melbourne finally tracked them down. From my paperwork the chrome cruiser mir...

OK- thanks SilverR. I filed the pin off and fitted them. Dissapointing and I am going back to the original incandescent amber lamps. I think a big part of the problem is the indicator lamps mount sideways and the LED units put all the light straight out. They were no where near as good. The tail/bra...

OK they just turned up and this will teach me to double check things. I have had the R1150R only for a few days and had not looked at the globes in the clear lensed indicators. The pins are not horizontal, in line but in a V shape. Where do they come up with these ideas?? I used to be in the auto el...

Hmmm. Yellow/amber.
I did not think that would be too different and they sell the yellow as replacements for indicators. Will have mine in 24 hours or so and I will install and let you know.

Hi
Not sure where you are (I am in Australia) but I just ordered amber LED's here http://www.ledshoponline.com/motorcycle_leds.htm. The amber ones are $10 aust , less in US dollars.
Thanks to MIXR for the tip.

Hi DJ The air bag jackets do have CE armor. Several police forces (including Tiawan) are using them for their motorcylce officers aparently. See http://cpimportsllc.com/police.html The force necesary to inflate is around 30kg and you should notice the "tug" before you walk too far. I am no...

DJ
What don't you like about the Hit Air jackets?
Seems like a logical step but I guess without exhaustive testing its hard to say how well they work in real life.
