I dual-boot my PC at home; Windows XP for my wife, and SUSE SLES9 Linux for me. The best of both worlds.

I got Z6s last summer...HUGE improvement! Not tentative in the rain anymore.

Next month I will have mine 3 years. It had 1,200 miles when I bought it, it has over 12,000 now.

I've been having the same issue. I find that it tends to happen within the first 5-10 minutes of my ride. It's very intermittent, but when it does happen it takes me a couple of attempts at the shift lever to get it into gear. I'm planning on changing the fluids in mine this weekend, to see if that ...

My wife's only complaint is that I ride too fast (which she communicates to me with a rabbit-punch to the kidneys).

When she rode with me on my Honda cruiser she had frequent back issues, but she is a lot more comfortable and relaxed on the R.

I picked up a pair of these Rocky ATV boots http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/cb/cb.asp?p=BOFXC&i=84083 and I love 'em. In fact, they have become the footwear of choice for most of my rides. They are insulated, so they do get a bit warm on really hot days (that's when I opt for my BMW lite boots)...

Once. Was backing it out of my shed, and tripped on a ladder (Who left that there?!!! ...oh yeah, me.). The bike landed against the door jamb. Minor damage tho, bent the windscreen mounts, and scuffed the right directional, which I buffed out with a Magic Eraser. Got off lucky for my stupidity.
