I am getting the flashing brake lights on my 2001 R1150R intermittently the warning is for low brake fluid level which seems to be okay. The bike is due soon for it's next service has anyone come across this problem? I was wondering if the brake lines had become sponge and need replacing>

Does anyone have recomendations for a top box for my R1150R I was thinking of a Givi or Hepco and Becker Top Box. Givi is a bit pricey in Australia but they seem good and have a good mounting system I think. I want to use it with my BMW panniers to do some camping. Also looking for tank bag as well.

I have R1150R 2002 with ROX BMW panniers the latch that locks to hold the pannier on has broken has anyone had any experience replacing one of these latches or any idea where I could get the latch from? I think you drill the rivets out with a 1/8 th drill bit.

I have an R1150R 2001 great bike. I find the oil level changes in the site glass I am guessing it is oil sitting in the oil coolers. Has anyone else noticed this?
I am also trying to get the oil to end up half way in the site glass.

I would like to purchase a communication system for bike to bike I have been looking at the Scala G4 and the Autocom does anyone have any ideas which is the best unit or the clarity between the two. Has anyone mounted a powerlet handlebar outlet to there bike? I am thinking of doing this. Have you been happy with the outlet I thought this might give me the most flexability in the future.

I was thinking of mounting an auxillary power plug to my R1150R I was going to use powerlet as they seem to be popular and this should give me more flexability in the future any idea where I could mount an extra power plug?

I have mounted a ram mount for my garmin nuvi 260w gps to the handle bars and want to power the GPS from the bikes power any ideas on how to power the gps? or what cables to use?

I have found that when my R1150R gets wet in the rain or when I wash it the ABS and Break warning light comes on until the bike dries out. Any ideas where or how I can trace the problem. My next plan was to wet parts of the bike until the fault appeared.

I have just purchased a 2001 R1150R and love it. Does anyone spin the bike around 180 on one leg of the centre stand. I used to do this with my old R45 a long time ago. Or am I asking for trouble?
