Can you tell me how you mounted the case similar to the pelican? I really like that style.
Thank you.

Re: Completed - 64,000 mile service.
Thanks for the quick reply. I bought the SAFXO from Max BMW (Northeaset US - I think). I live near Pittsburgh, PA. It is a 2009 R1200R. I was concerned about the few cc (maybe 15 -20, or so, of the 207 not making it in. Now I don't know if I should be concerned about too much in. But it does not sou...

I also looked at the Zig Zag bag by Giant Loop. It was in Motorcyclist and Rider this month.

Re: Completed - 64,000 mile service.
Hi, Thanks for all of the information. Can you tell me about the rear drive fluid? I just replaced mine. I took out just under 200ml (maybe 190 - 195). The pre pack bottle was 207ml. I got most in except for a few drops and adhesion to the hose and funnel that I used because it was so thick. Can you...

Handlebar bag recommendation - R1200R
Hi,
Are there any bags that have been used - either good or bad?
There seem to a few made to work with a handlebar crossbar that the R1200R is without.
Thank you for your time.

throttle cable lube - at the splitter?
Hi,
I lubed the upper cable from the grip of a 2009 R1200R (12,000 miles). I didn't plan on removing the tank to take apart the splitter and lube those two cables. Does anyone do that as regular maintenance if they are not having any problems?
Thanks.

Thanks for both replies - this is what I was thinking too.
BTW: where did you get a bash plate? Do you have a pic?

Re: BATTERY OR STARTER MOTOR ISSUES
when I changed my battery to new, I would get 13.08V after being on the Junior charger. Then down to 12.87 sitting overnight; 10.7V5 and 11.12 V lowest during two different starts; then 14.2 running. I think I read that it can't go below 10.2 or 10.4 on start or it won't work. I hope this helps. Dar...

raising the front end: R1200R
Hi,
I am removing the wheels to change tires. Is there a good way to raise the front without a fork stand? I have used a jack under the pipes of my fjr, or I was thinking on the A arm of the front suspension, via a 2x4.
Any guidance would be great.
Thank you.

oil drain plug washer and transmission washers
Hi,
Does anyone have the inside diameter and outside diameter of those three washers? I have some crush washers from a Yamaha and Honda and would like to save a trip.
Thanks.
I think:
oil plug washer: pn 07119963252.5
both transmission pn 07119963200.5 (I don't know what the .5 is on the end)

part number of Amsoil oil filter
2009 R1200R
At one time on Amsoil's websitethey listed the Eaom122 - it is longer by 1.5 inches.
Has anybody used this - or just the BMW filter with Amsoil Changes?
Thanks.
